This New 164-Foot Superyacht Concept Comes in 3 Striking Variants

This latest superyacht series shows that three is better than one. Turkish yard RMK Yachts and Milan design studio Hot Lab are collaborating once again, this time on a trio of sleek 164-foot explorer concepts that each have a dash of their own personality. But each vessel, shares a similar platform and is meant to roam the high seas, with a 4,000-nautical-mile range that could carry its owner just about anywhere. The explorer sentiment aboard the series, which is called Petra, can also be seen in its steel hull and aluminum superstructure across the three vessels. From there, each iteration branches off into its own style: Aura is the most lifestyle-focused model, which RMK and Hot Lab says for owners who are homed in on comfort onboard. As a result, this vessel is equipped with an extra guest cabin on the main deck, as well as more social spots and even a lower-deck entertainment room. Plus, it sports a rather striking copper hue. Its sibling Core, meanwhile, is all about balance (drawing details from both Italian design schemes and explorer features) and family experiences, with a roomy main deck pantry and an owner’s balcony that acts as a private retreat. For this model, RMK and Hot Lab chose to dress it up in a classic bright white on the exterior. Last but not least, we have Infinite, which was designed for owners that truly want to take on the seas. This vessel offers up an ice-class notation, a hybrid propulsion option, and a capability to journey on the sea for long ranges, whether it be to remote islands, polar locales, or transoceanic routes.
