This New 124-Foot Superyacht Comes With a Two-Story Asymmetric Deck

Mangusta’s GranSport line just leveled up. The Italian shipyard has unveiled the newest addition to its sporty superyacht collection at this year’s Miami International Boat Show. The four-engine knockout, known as the GranSport 38, stretches a cool 124 feet and combines power and style for a true statement on the seas. That all starts with the 38’s asymmetric design on two of its decks, with just one walkway on the main deck’s port side and one walkway on the upper deck’s starboard side. The imbalance actually allows for more space inside and out on the superyacht, more than you’d typically get for a vessel of this size—and it makes for a rather svelte exterior, with clean lines as you move from bow to stern with uninterrupted views of the ocean blue. The upper deck is home to an alfresco dining area as well as an infinity pool at the bow, while the sundeck has been transformed into a private hideaway to lounge in secluded luxury. Head to the two-level beach club for more fun in the sun, with two side wings that can open for some more room aboard. You’ll also have plenty of space to unwind inside, thanks to the interiors that were brought to life by designer Alberto Mancini. The main salon, for one, has massive floor-to-ceiling windows to take in those sea views. The GranSport 38 can host up to 12 guests across five cabins (as well as room for seven crew), including a full-beam owner’s suite that opens up to the water. And the design is completely customizable to the owner’s needs, including everything from materials to the layout. Living up to its sporty lineage are the new vessel’s four Volvo Penta D13 1000 hp engines, along with two propulsion pods. (The 38’s sibling, the GranSport 33 also came equipped with a quartet of Volvo Pentas.) All that juice means this GranSport can dart to a max speed of 20 knots, with a cruising speed of 18 knots, while also delivering an up to 600-nautical-mile range.
